So yesterday I went to a local sports store and bought myself a new spincast fishing rod and some lures. Yay! I spent over $50 (eek!!) Now I'm excited to get out and give it a test try! My old rod was REEEEALLY old, and the reel wasn't working right. A couple of friends said they were suprised I went camping and fishing, cuz I seemed too girly for that. *laughs* I think I'll take that as a compliment.:) Hee hee...I'm kind of really a fishing wuss though, cuz I usually ask whoever I'm with to get the fish off of the hook for me. I just like catching them..it's fun.:)

Pick up barbless hooks - it won't hurt the fish and it's easier for you to get them off the hook. :) Maybe you and Dan can go out sometime too, he hasn't been fishing for awhile!

I don't mind taking the fish off the hook or using worms or anything like that, but I couldn't catch a fish if it hit me in the head! So maybe we should go fishing together!

I'm sorry I missed you when I was in MT! My mom said that you called when I was out hiking. :( I needed a few extra days there I think!
